kiki.pngKiki is a community organizer working and living on unceded, unsurrendered Mi’kmaq territory in Kjipuktuk (Halifax), Nova Scotia. She identifies as a white, queer, settler, who is interested in building resilient communities towards social and environmental justice. Kiki has been working and volunteering on issues of social justice since 2007. She now works primarily in climate justice organizing as the National Director for the Canadian Youth Climate Coalition. 

Kiki coordinated the Canadian Youth Delegation to COP21 in her role as the CYCC's National Director and is returning to COP as the coordinator of the Canadian Youth Delegation to COP22. She feels that is the responsibility of young people to hold traditional power holders accountable to the decisions of today as the inheritors of tomorrow. 

She believes in the ability of people power to create system change and further a just transition towards a better future. She is continually motivated to continue this work to live up to the gifts and trust of those that have come before her.
